Whenever we go in to make a new album we never know how it's gonna be received by those who spend most of their time listening to and judging such things. We're humbled by the positive reception for our new record so far and this review from Spanish outlet Dirty Rock Magazine makes all the hours we spent toiling away on High on the Low Brow totally worthy.

Each composition finds its own space within open structures that allow for transitions from swampy blues passages to even more pop-oriented moments and more energetic developments bordering on classic hard rock. The instrumentation plays a fundamental role in the album's sonic richness. Guitar solos appear when needed, adding character without overshadowing the whole. Bob Patient's Hammond organ adds that characteristic and versatile touch, while guest saxophonist Billy Rogers introduces warm nuances to some of the tracks. All of this is underpinned by the solid rhythm section of drummer Warren Hall. Mariani's voice once again fits perfectly into each song. His performance conveys credibility and connects seamlessly in every passage. Datura4 continues to explore the legacy of rock from half a century ago and presents it to us with extraordinary viability in 2026. The result is a warm album capable of alternating between tranquil moments and bursts of energy, achieving a coherent work that remains true to Datura4's identity."
